Dear GoldSilver Storage Customer,
Due to an insurance policy billing change at Brink's Security, segregated vault storage fees are going to be calculated differently starting July 1, 2012.
Going forward segregated vault storage account billing will be based on the value of the stored metals rather than by the ounce.
Here is how it will work:

Gold
20 Basis Points on Account Value ( 0.2 % ) billed monthly
OR
Minimum $ 25.00 per month ( whichever is greater )
For the Gold Storage Fee Calculation:
( 0.002 X (Gold Fix* X Gold Account Ounces)) / 12 = Monthly Storage Fee OR Minimum
*Gold Fix is based on the month's average daily AM gold fix in London
Gold Example 1:
A client is storing 100 X Gold Eagle Coins with an average monthly gold fix price of $ 1600.00
Calculation: ( 0.002 X 160,000 ) / 12 = $ 26.67 > $ 25.00 minimum gold monthly storage fee
The new monthly storage fee in this example would equate to $ 26.67
Gold Example 2:
A client is storing 10 X Gold Eagle Coins with an average monthly gold fix price of $ 1600.00
Calculation: ( 0.002 X 16,000 ) / 12 = $ 2.67 < $ 25.00 minimum gold monthly storage fee
The new monthly storage fee in this example would equate to $ 25.00

Silver
50 Basis Points on Account Value ( 0.5 % ) billed monthly
OR
Minimum $ 35.00 per month ( whichever is greater )
Silver Storage Fee Calculation:
( 0.005 X (Silver Fix* X Silver Account Ounces)) / 12 = Monthly Storage Fee OR Minimum
*Silver Fix is based on the month's average daily AM silver fix in London
Silver Example 1:
A client is storing 10,000 X Silver Eagle Coins with an average monthly silver fix price of $ 30.00
Calculation: ( 0.005 X 300,000 / 12 ) = $ 125.00 > $ 35.00 minimum monthly silver storage fee
The new monthly storage fee in this example would equate to $ 125.00
Silver Example 2:
A client is storing 1,000 x Silver Eagle Coins with an average monthly silver fix price of $ 30.00
Calculation: ( 0.005 X 30,000 / 12 ) = $ 12.50 < $ 35.00 minimum monthly silver storage fee
The new monthly storage fee in this example would equate to $ 35.00
