The Austrian Philharmonic is struck in 999.9 fine gold. The
Philharmonic is the first gold bullion coin to be
denominated in the Euro currency. They are backed by the
government of Austria and minted by the Austrian Mint in
Vienna, internationally famous for the production of
exceptional gold coins for over 800 years. The Philharmonic
was the world's best selling Gold coin in 1992, 1995,
and 1996.
