Asahi is a world-renowned hallmark and has been in business for over 200 years. They are a LBMA (London Good Delivery) and COMEX approved refiner. Asahi Assayers and Refiners owns and operates an IRA approved mint (ISO9001). The ISO9001 certification guarantees the metal weight and purity of each 100 oz silver bar, and ensures that each has been manufactured with the industry’s highest standards of production quality.
100 oz Asahi Silver Bars feature the Asahi Assayers Refiners SLC (denoting production in Salt Lake City) logo at the top, and the logo of the Asahi Assay Office at the bottom. “100 OZ”, and “999” are also stamped on the obverse of these bars. Each 100 oz Asahi Silver Bar measures approximately 6.5 inches long x 2.5 inches wide x 1.25 inches in depth and because these are poured silver bars, there will be minor variations in the exact shape of each bar. Though shape may vary, the value of this silver bar will not.
These poured bars are stamped with the Johnson Matthey logo, .999 purity, and 100 oz. Johnson Matthey traces its origins to 1817, when Percival Norton Johnson established a gold assayer business in London. In 1852 the firm was appointed Official Assayer & Refiner to the Bank of England. Their name is synonymous with phenomenal craftsmanship, and is indicative of the prestige associated with this brand. They were recently acquired by Asahi, who are also renowned for their quality.
PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) is a private, state-of-the-art Swiss mint recognized the world over for producing silver bars to precise and exacting standards.
The quality of PAMP Suisse silver bars is verified by independent sworn assayers accredited by the Swiss Federal Bureau for the Control of Precious Metals (Assayer Fondeur). PAMP is an accredited ‘Good Delivery’ refiner by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the leading futures markets (TOCOM, COMEX/NYMEX).
The design of these 100 oz silver bars feature the PAMP logo with the word “SUISSE” below it (French for Switzerland) along with the inscriptions “100 TROY OUNCES”, “FINE SILVER”, & “999.0” which represents the purity of the silver in the bar. It measures 22.5 x 68 x 198mm.
