U.S. Treasury yields rose slightly on Monday as markets reacted to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.
The 10-year Treasury yield increased to 4.43%, while the 2-year yield reached 3.969%.
The conflict, which included Israeli strikes on Iranian targets and an attack on Iran’s South Pars gas field, pushed oil prices higher, with WTI crude up 0.7% to $73.50 per barrel.
Rising oil prices have renewed inflation concerns ahead of this week’s Federal Reserve meeting, where rates are expected to remain unchanged.
